Zahra Abtahi

Zahra is a PhD candidate at Stempel college of public health and social work of Florida International University. She has an anthropology background and has worked with different United Nations agencies while living in Iran. Her main interests are social media, collective trauma, and international migrants. Her dissertation is focused on online self-disclosure among marginalized populations, with a focus on Iranian who identify as LGBT.
