Najat Qushua

Najat Qushua, PhD, is a Research Data Analyst at Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, USA Dr. Qushua has worked for over 15 years as a social worker in a psychiatric hospital and community mental health center in Jerusalem, Israel. Dr. Qushua’s dissertation project (2020) and doctoral work focused on mothering experiences in the aftermath of war and displacement. Specifically, she is interested in researching mothering, gender dynamics, violence, health, and mental health of refugee and migrant women and girls in Arab Muslim societies, refugee camps, host communities, and camps in western countries and low resources settings.
