Youn Kyoung "Lily" Kim
Associate Professor at Louisiana State University School of Social Work
Dr. Kim’s overarching research program explores the interconnections between mental health and health risk behaviors among marginalized populations, with a special focus on at-risk youth, refugees, and immigrants. Her research specifically addresses behavioral health inequities and identifies salient risk and protective factors to achieve health and mental health equity, while exploring pathways to enhanced resilience and improved well-being among these groups. Throughout her academic career, Dr. Kim has developed and implemented culturally responsive community and school-based interventions that address behavioral health issues among diverse youth and refugee populations.
