Vi-Anh Hoang is a Public Health Research Coordinator at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and the Brown School of Public Health. Born and raised in Texas, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Informatics with a minor in Astrophysics from Arizona State University. Her research focuses on racial and gender health disparities, LGBTQ+ reproductive and gender-affirming healthcare access, and the implementation of health policy to address systemic equities. Outside of academia, she volunteers at the Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center and serves two very cute but demanding cats.
